Christmas Acrostic Poem

Last week my 10-year-old son brought home the following acrostic that he had written at school, and I received his permission to share it here:

Christ was born in
Hay
Right by animals,
In a manger.
Some wise men braved
The journey through the desert to see the
Messiah
And they gave him gifts of
Silver, gold, and frankincense.

Read the original story at Luke 2:1-7 and Matthew 2:1-12.

Merry Christmas!
