While reading the Bible, we can stumble across a verse that we have heard before, but didn't know where it fit into the bigger picture

Once we appreciate how great God's rest is, let's make sure that we don't let His offer "expire"!

Joshua brought the Israelites to a place where they could have temporary rest, but there is another who brings an even better kind of rest

It is sad when someone misses out on a wonderful opportunity because they didn't trust the message (or the messenger)

It's easy to say what we believe, but a check of our behavior often tells more than our words

A lack of belief and humble obedience to God's offer of salvation can cause us to miss out on our own "Promised Land"

If our goal is eventually to rest, let's listen to God's instructions about not missing out on it!

Even if we're not royalty, we can be members of a royal house
