While positive practices can help us remember what is important, they should not take the place of what is more important

Perhaps reminders aren't always as significant as the realization that we forgot in the first place

Nehemiah provides us some good examples of what to do when those around us get discouraged

Do you ever remind God about His promises to you?

Is it possible for simple acts of service to others to be "no problem"?

Sometimes, being told the same thing more than once isn't an insult to our intelligence; it's a valuable reminder, instead.

It can be difficult to give God first place in our entire lives, but maybe the first step is to bring Him into new parts of your life, one at a time.
